Right Now...

I'm new iPhone 5. Squee! The new camera is fantastic!! It was my Mother's Day present (I know, a bit late). I wanted a high quality camera that would be easy to carry everywhere. I ALMOST got the Olympus PEN, but figured I'd wait for the iPhone to come out and get that instead. So glad I did.

I'm listening to...the boys playing. Homework is done for the day and playing has commenced.

I'm watching...Homeland and Parenthood (new additions to my lineup). And Glee (Kate Hudson is so good). Thank goodness for Netflix and HuluPlus.

I'm take away my husband's heartache over losing the championship game last night in his hockey league. They only lost one game all season and were really hoping to take home the trophy.

I'm believing...that my mojo will return. I'm just hoping it's sooner rather than later.

I'm reading...excerpts by Mark Twain on creativity. Relieved that he only worked when inspiration struck.

I'm looking forward to...a girl's breakfast tomorrow morning with friends. I could use a good gabfest.

I'm would be awesome to run away for a bit. Maybe become a gypsy for a week. Yes, I'm in that place where I just need a little bit of time to be free and irresponsible.

  1. Awesome Wendy :)

Congrats on your new iphone...that was definitely worth waiting for.
    Glee (yes!)
I don't think you lost your mojo...but if you did, it's just taking a rest (it will come back bigger & better than ever).

  2. I've been thinking a lot that a weekend away, alone, would be such a great gift to myself! It's been years since I was alone for more than an hour or two. I think we deserve it :)

  3. iPhone 5 camera - woohoo!!! I just love my iPhone 4S camera so can only imagine how cool the iPhone 5 one must be. I'm so excited, we in Australia get to see the first episode of Homeland season 2 tonight!!! Can NOT wait. Seriously must get the boys to bed on time...
